new bikes

Noah and daddy went shopping for a new bike for his birthday on Saturday. He was incredibly proud of his purchase and is such a goofy little show off. He was busy chopping rocks with the goggles on this week and now thinks he looks pretty cool wearing them riding his bike. All I have to say is he is pretty creative with his look. Gotta love the boy.

Naomi finally fits on her bike that she got two years ago for Christmas. She is so excited to be on her girly bike and we love to see her on it.

your comfort

When you go to bed you wrap your thumb in your taggie and hold it up next to your paci. You make me comfy my sweet Marlee girl.

first food

Levi got rice cereal today. He loved it. Naomi was sweet and captured all these photos for me while I fed him.

This is Levi looking at me waiting for me to make him laugh more.

playin'

Hanging out with Levi. Trying to get him to roll over on a consistent basis but he would rather lay on his back so he cries until I help push him over. He gets a big smile on his face when he gets to where he is comfy and loves it when we clap our hands that he has done a good job. He is sucking his fingers constantly-they are red and almost raw. He reminds me a lot of how Marlee was as a baby-happy and smiling most all of the time. That is very good!

sweet smell of spring

The beauty of spring is in the air. Naomi ran in the house on Monday excitedly telling me about the first purple flowers of the year. I have to take a picture every year because no matter what weed killer Kev puts next to the shed this one little bunch of crocus always shines through. We welcome the swinging, bike riding, and all the neighborhood kids that come to play in our yard. It is a breath of fresh air to be out of the house for all the kiddos.

My big baby Naomi here being a goofus loving the baby swing.

Marlee finally figured out the slide all by herself! (and very proud of it)

Love Noah cheering Marlee on her way down.

here

Here I watch my dear Marlee playing with Levi. I have to watch her to make sure she doesn't throw a toy at him or cover his head with a blanket. She loves her baby brother but has been a little stinker with him lately. I think she is getting jealous that he takes so much of my time. This may sound crazy to most but it is easier having twins than two little ones 20 months apart in age.

Levi thinking "I gotta watch out for this one, what is she going to do next?"

Sweet baby

5 months

My baby you are 5 months old already.
Your smile lights up your whole face.
You rolled over from your tummy to your back last week a few times.
You don't really like tummy time-you would rather sit in your rocker seat or lay on your back.
You sleep in the middle of any crazy noise that goes on in this house.
I think you are teething because your hands are in your mouth constantly.
You love your bath time.
You still love to cuddle and fall asleep in my arms.
I love to watch you do anything. You remind me how simple life should be.
I love you Bubby.
